A nonprofit built to make power legible

We believe the law belongs to the people it governs. Too often, legislation is made in rooms most citizens never see and written in language most citizens cannot read. Legis360 exists to close that gap, so that following your own government takes no insider access.

• The record belongs to everyone. We turn what legislatures and electoral bodies produce into plain language, with the source documents alongside.
• Evidence before advocacy. We are non-partisan. We report what we find, gaps and good practice alike, and we say plainly what our tools can and cannot tell you.
• Built to last. A pilot nobody builds on is only a story. We build tools and networks, like Ilimi, EveryVotes and WAYON, meant to outlive any one project.
• Young people at the table. West Africa has no shortage of young people with ideas. We help turn those ideas into rules, together with partners like the ECOWAS Commission.
