Role Summary
Legis360 is seeking a state coordinator to support the implementation of its legislative transparency and civic engagement project in Ekiti State. The coordinator will serve as the primary local contact, supporting stakeholder engagement, youth mobilisation, data collection, and state-level project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate local project activities in Ekiti State, including needs assessment and validation sessions.
- Mobilise youth groups, CSOs, and community actors to participate in project activities.
- Support engagement with Ekiti State House of Assembly staff, aides, and relevant institutions.
- Assist in organising trainings, meetings, and advocacy sessions.
- Provide timely updates, basic reports, and field feedback to the central Legis360 team.
- Ensure activities are delivered in line with project timelines and budget.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Ekiti State civic or governance landscape.
- Experience working with the Ekiti State Assembly.
- Experience working with youth groups, CSOs, or community-based organisations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic digital literacy (online surveys, WhatsApp, email).
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
